Description: MacLeod provides a brief guitar lesson on the sofa in the living room of his home in Hope Valley, Rhode Island. MacLeod started playing old-time music shortly after he met his now wife Sandol Astrausky. He was an experienced musician when they met, mainly playing bass, and she introduced him to old-time music. He learned the guitar and banjo to accompany her. He plays old-time music at least three times a week including a farmers market on Saturdays. Rory and Sandol typically attend three festivals each summer, and he brings both his banjo and his guitar.
